James Brausch from The Internet Business blog offers a paper newsletter that is worth it’s weight in gold.

He offers very good information about building your business and also how to start and run a business properly and have it automated.

There is a regular column about traffic, another about copywriting and another about product creation and of course articles about other topics.

The articles published in my paper newsletter will not be republished on my blog. There are some questions that pop up from time-to-time that I am not willing to answer on a public blog. A good example is the questions recently about where I’m getting the junk traffic to test MuVar with at 5 cents per visitor…. and where did I get the even junkier traffic for a penny a visitor that resulted in the margin size study.

That’s valuable information. I give away a lot of free information here on the blog, but that particular information just goes too far. I’m not willing to answer that question here on the blog. That answer is just too valuable… and there are other reasons I just wouldn’t put that kind of information on a public blog. Those who sign up for the newsletter will understand those reasons.

I am willing to answer those kinds of questions in a paid newsletter though.

Here is more information from his page:
“I give out very valuable information that others charge hundreds of dollars for… and their stuff generally isn’t even tested. I don’t sell or teach anything that I don’t do myself. That’s just the way I work. If you already know that, then you know that I give a ton of free information on my blog at JamesBrausch.com. However, there are just some things that are too valuable to publish on a blog. I publish those things here in my printed newsletter.”

Check it out here.

WARNING – Just because your toolbar shows a page has a PageRank of 5 does not mean it does!

SEO & Affiliate Marketing Genius Jerry West has put together a very scary article that covers the rising rate of fraud in the industries of selling expired domains and selling used domains.
“This article covers the rising rate of fraud in the industries of selling expired domains and selling used domains. This article was previously only available to our paid members of the SEO Revolution, but we are releasing it as a public service due to the high level of fraud that is currently in the market.”

Jerry recently purchased some domains from a broker that were good domains and looked to be well established (with good PageRank). However, when he got possession of them, they were not quite what he thought he had purchased. In his investigation into this, it was clear that many of the domains being sold today from brokers and especially on eBay are littered with fraud.

I recently created a new website. When I first created it, it was a seperate website with a seperate blog (blog in a directory ie: mysite.com/blog/). I tried unsuccessfully for about 4 weeks and I couldn’t get crawled by the serps, or get listed.

The website was/is updated daily, but the content doesn’t contain very much text, the content is mostly numbers, as in the latest bingo jackpots for Las Vegas Bingo rooms.

I decided to switch it over to a blog so the blog posts (ie: content) was in the same directory. Wallah! Three days later I’m on googles front page for the domain name text, with some other keywords moving up.

The blog posts help give the site the content needed while the main page is somewhat static. You can see what I mean here: VegasBingoJackpots.com

I promoted both the website and the seperate blog and the now website/blog using a few free press release sites, Digg, Technorati… etc.

Does anyone else have similar results with the Power of the Blog they would like to share? Or any ideas how I could improve the serp listings?

I have agreed to forward the message below to my
list and I hope you will join me and my friend
Dee Kumar in making the holidays a little more
festive for some of the less fortunate.

Dee does a much better job at explaining this
than I ever could. But the simple fact is that
you can help just by posting on a blog and telling
a few friends to do the same.

I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas…

Warm regards,

Soren Jordansen

——–Message from Dee——————–

Hi Ron,

Hope you feeling very festive today!

I mentioned last week about my new venture to raise
Thousands for charity this christmas, and I’m proud
to say it is ready for promotion!

http://www.pegasusteam.com/xmasblog.php

The site is pretty self explanatory, but the basic
concept is simple. We aim to create the worlds largest
blog on a single day! But the twist is that after every
post their will be a few adverts.. and you guessed it,
you can buy those adverts with the proceeds going to
charity! Times is of the essence though as it will all
happen and finish on Thursday December 21st !

We are all internet marketers on this site so here is
how it will benefit you. Each person you personally refer,
will carry YOUR advert on their blog to! Whats more is
that if you upgrade you can have your advert shown on all
bloggers DOWN 2 ENTIRE LEVELS or even shown across randomly
across the WHOLE BLOG! This is an amazing oppotunity to
promote your business as many non-marketers will be joining
in on this venture – how many internet marketing campaigns
can boast that fact? Most importantly this is for charity so
you will be helping those less fortunate at this festive
time of year.

Christmas is traditionally the time for giving, so please
take the time to signup and if possible purchase a promotion
package as the money will be going to good causes (obviously
you will be getting valuable business promotion too

If you have a website, then please add a link to Christmasrecord
on it, and send a message to all your lists (with your referal
link of course) so many more people will get involved .. all
of which will carry your ad

This is not a money making venture, but something i dreamed
about a few weeks ago, and really from the bottom of my heart
wanted to do. I hope you share my vision and make this event a
success. It would be truely a great christmas knowing that we were
actually able to made a difference this year.

Please sign up now!
http://www.pegasusteam.com/xmasblog.php

Thank you

Dee Kumar
